Here, there is a compilation of my poems from CRW 100, which I took during the fall of my senior year. Poetry was a genre that I had very little experience with, until I began to practice writing my own. As I learned, poetry became a place for me to express my deepest emotions or utmost fears. They became therapeutic and a vehicle to face moments and feelings I avoided previously.
An Aliens First Trip to Wake Forest University

One of the exercises we had to do in CRW 100 was to sit in an environment that we frequently visit. Then, we were each tasked with describing our observations as if we had no idea what anything was. Here, is my piece that developed from our assignment. I am sitting on a bench on Wake Forest University's upper quad noting what I see.
We Have Ways of Making You Talk

My last piece of creative writing from CRW 100 is based on the Jason Bourne movie trilogy. Bourne films are a series of action thriller films based on the character Jason Bourne, a CIA assassin suffering from dissociative amnesia who must figure out who he is, created by author Robert Ludlum. All three of Ludlum's novels were adapted for the screen, featuring Matt Damon as the title character in each. I wanted to write the opening scene of my own version of a spin-off. Here is my first attempt at screen writing.
